Keychain Access
« on: 1 January 2003, 07:42 »
I don't recall ever entering a keychain password, but whenever I want to do certain things like access the internet preferences or use Mail, a dialog box opens asking me for my keychain password or phrase. I don't know what the hell it is, so I'm limited in what I can do now. Does anyone have any ideas?

It is normally the same as your login password and is set to unlock whenever you login, unless you change it.
You should look at the Application in Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access

In utilities it says its my old iTools password, but since iTools died I seem to have forgotten it. It's probably somewhere on one of my thousands of sticky-notes. Thanks.

hmmm... can't seem to find my iTools password. How do you get old passwords from services that don't exist anymore?
