hfs on linux

(1/1)

Kintaro:
I mount floppys with the Linux hfs module all the time, what i want to know is how set a file so it is an executable on the mac. For example if i download a macintosh app and put it on my floppy with hfs, then put it on my mac. How do i go about executing it?

It just says that it has nothing to open that kind of document.

billy_gates:
on Mac OSX you have to run a CHMOD command.  I forget what the number is, but look on the Apple support forums.

Kintaro:
When OS-X runs on my Mac Classic ill get right back to you. And of cource thats what id do on OS-X its Unix!

I need to do it on System Software 7, or what can i do before putting it on floppy.
