Proxy
« on: 16 March 2003, 05:40 »
My proxy, how do I find it? I looked in System Prefs but it wasn't listed. I'm trying to install napster and it needs my proxy.

[EDIT]Not sure if a proxy and a proxy server are the same thing (it asks just for the proxy).

I don't have a proxy server so i don't know if this will work.  Try the network utility.  It is in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.

System Preferences -> Internet & Network -> Network -> Proxies. That is if you're using a web proxy on port 80 or 8080 to connect to the Internet. Otherwise, you can leave it blank!
