Is this worth what it costs? It has superdrive and 1 gig of memory.

doesnt seem like a bad deal. and i have actually had good deals on ebay, meaning, i didnt get screwed. (well, once, but that was resolved). i had pretty much that exact same setup (less memory, no superdrive) and it was a great machine.

you can get a 1 ghz g4 with 256 megs of faster ram, no superdrive, and a better vid card for 1,500 at apple.com. Its proscessor and memory are faster, but like I said, it only has 256 megs of ram and no superdrive. The ram does run twice as fast though.

would you really use the super drive?? i think i have only used mine like once. i think it would be best to buy it from apple, but you seemed to want to get the one off of ebay so i gave my opinion on that system. you can always upgrade the ram.

It's an OK deal, not great. You could buy the DUAL processor 867's for just a little more.

if i choose to pay only what my bill says every month, then it will take a few years. i guess they are just nice, they gave me until May to pay it off completely with no interest, after that deadline, i have to start paying interest...
