Since I've asked everyone else on the planet and got a shitty response, I'd figured I'd ask the question here.

Will upgrading my PowerBook Wallstreet's processor from a 233 w/512 KB to a 300 w/1 MB have a significant difference in speed? I use OS X 10.2 in case you didn't already know.
I
need to upgrade the processor. iTunes uses about 50-70% of the processor just to play music. That and typing a document in Textedit is fine, but when I have that and two browser (Chimera or Mozilla) windows open, it gets very sluggish.
Although I have to say, taking the RAM from 160 to 256 gave a nice speed boost, especially in program launching speed. But enough RAM, the processor meter thing is always at 90% or more when I'm doing anything at all, so logically I would upgrade the proc.
Thanks
