PC in a G4 box...
« on: 3 November 2002, 07:04 »
I have been thinking of a project to do with computer bits. I have a case with more security then you can set your eyes upon, i have a computer made of fans (Might has well be). I was going to build a computer in a breifcase, but the Chipset motherbored i needed is past my price range.....

So i have decided to build a x86 pc because there cheap... Inside a G4 box!

Anyway I have everything i need, except a G4 box, so if anyone here just happens to have one PM me some details. Im not sure what price im willing to go for either.

What a waste of a good case. That's like putting an Atari 2600 inside an SGI Indigo 2 case.

Besides, it's been done. It was called the "Rotten Apple", I believe, but they painted the case.

However, there are numerous companies selling cheap knockoffs of G4 cases in the ATX formfactor.

It looks good, but nothing like a G4... I want an Authentic one.

Yes it will be a rotten apple, but its because the case looks cool. And i want one.
