I've always wondered about that chunk that's missing from the apple.  Is that a symbol for the chunk that Gates took out of Jobs' ass? (before someone slams me, I'm anti-MS not anti-Apple/Mac).

Couldn't possibly. If it was suppose to symbolize all that His Gatesness ripped off from Apple, all that would be left is a core  :D

There is some historical reason for it and it's widely known.
