So? Doesn't make THAT much of a difference, does it? I'm sure others would complain that they can't run Panther on their brand new G4 iMac if Mac OS went 64 bit.

It's just like when Apple switched to Power PC processors. It takes a while for the software to catch up. Until then, emulation will suffice.

you have a point... I should be celebrating. Panther will not be designed for technology that I do not, as of yet, posess

Even the last version of Mac OS 9 contained 68k code. The Finder wasn't native until 8.
