Anyway I noticed the new eMacs have a boosted bus speed and a Radeon 7500 (is that worse than geforce 2 mx?) I think that now eMacs are cheap and have 1ghz that Apple is going to have to either lower iMac price or give iMacs like a 1.25 or 1.42 ghz processor (or l3 caching... drool)

I think they updated them to get rid of the last of the g4s.  Because the relationship between apple and motorola seems like it's dwindling away. And their are lots of rumors that we will see a new powermac as soon as july equiped with the 970 from ibm.

I think they are great machines, espeacially for the price.  But I was just thinking they want to get rid of the rest of the g4s.  Hopefully they will roll out the 970s at wwdc in june.

I was playing Starcraft with an Apple employee that was playing on a G5. I knew he wasn't lying because he knew too much specs and stuff.

I only played one game with him, I don't know him (I was playing as MacOSWarrior is how the conversation got started). I didn't believe him at first either but he seemed to be legit. I don't know, it's possible that he wasn't, but it seems like quite a bit of work to rattle off specs like that if he just wanted to bs people (they were rather in-depth). Sorry, I don't remember any of them, it was a few weeks ago.

He said G5s hadn't been officially announced yet and I wondered if the Apple gestapo was going to haul him away, but he assured me that it was legal to talk about it.

You know my friend once said that he played with a guy who had a secret military modem (t-9 or something like that) and that it gave him negative-lag and caused OTHER players to lag instead. Uh... no matter what someone says, I don't believe anyone on the internet without really really hardcore evidence. The internet- the bastion of truth and honesty
