Good catch XP Luser, M$ actually only has 25.19% of the market share of active web servers. See: http://www.netcraft.com/survey/

And if you go by this one M$ only has 20% of the commercial web sites while Apache has 62%, and despite those numbers 55% of successful assaults are against Windows/IIS sites:
http://www.aaxnet.com/news/M010512.html

In fact because of this insurance companies have raised insurance premiums for MS/IIS sites to 25% above that of others.

And thanks to shoddy M$ software even our Girl Scouts were owned:

Why is it 25%? Why does anyone host websites on Windows? (That isn't a rhetorical question)

I can understand why companies feel too crack-addicted to MS to migrate their corporate networks and desktops over to Linux - but webservers?

If a company is looking for an operating system to put it on their webservers, they choose the best (which is a UNIX based system at the moment)

Some company's listen to the commercials: "Never get complaints from your customers again. Run a fast and bug free operating system. Choose Windows XP today and surprise yourself" -Translated from the Dutch radio commercial that Microsoft brought out. Then they think: "Hey! Never get complaints again! Let's upgrade to Windows XP right away... hey wait... Windows XP can also run webservers right? Just what we need." -Example of that 25% Windows webservers.
