Anyone use OpenOffice for Mac?
(1/1)
psyjax:
Hey, I downloaded and installed the public beta of OpenOffice for OSX. It's a brilliant pice of software! I can't wait till they dump X11 for Aqua, till then I have to Use X11 as well as it's fonts.
It said howver that there is a way to import my Mac fon'ts, a Utilitie known as fondu. Anyone know how to use it, or how to go about accessing the OSX fonts from X11 programms?
Thanx.

Here's a screenshot I saw on kde-look.org of some KDE apps running under the new Mac X11 server which takes advantage of the Quartz rendering engine - It's much faster than XDarwin. I wish apple would release Quartz as open source so we Linux users could take advantage of its rendering features!

Im usong Apple x11, Im just wonderin bout the fonts
As far as quartz, Its fully documented API wise, so even if it aint open, it's not hard to program for.

Really? It's a good program? I was just about to start a thread about it because it's coming in the mail.
