I think we can look at this like a political spectrum. Linux on one side, Windows on the other. Apple has always been closer to the Linux side and now with OSX they are going even farther in that direction.

either way, it is flawed. beos was closed, look how limited it was. linux is open, look how much of a mess it can be.

this thread is pretty pointless. i kind of agree with macman what he said in the first post, and nobody has really disagreed with him, also who does he think he's responding to? he says he's sick and tired but why? i mean he started this thread in the first place!
