Battlefield 1942!!

Yeah! Aspyr is porting Battlefield 1942 to the Mac!! It's such an awsome game!

I dont like the game to tell you the truth. Too much emphasis on realism, and slow gameplay. Call of Duty  and Medal of Honor are much more fun. The graphics aren't that hot either.

I've only got one decent game on that Mac: Quake 3, I'd like to get my hands on a few more Quake 3 runs just as good on Panther as it does under Linux or Win2k on my P4 system.

I have the demo for that, but it only runs on OS 9.... is there a patch that can make it work for Panther?

but they better be smart and put out a demo before the game so that more people dont download it than buy it

Unreal Tournament and Max Payne are really the only games I play on my PC.  Oh yeah, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.  Other then that I play all Final Fantays games and mario brothers.  SMB3 is the best game ever!!!

What I do not understand is why people like Quake3 and Counter Strike so much.  Quake3 is ok but not that great, but I think CS really sucks a donkey.  Why is it liked so much?  People are obsessed with that game.  When people I know play lan parties, that is the only game they play.  I would rather play UT any day.

Quake 3 is easy to learn, easy to play, and fast paced, even on slower pc's, that is why it is so popular. It used to be that people played the original Unreal Tournament a lot, or the original Quake, but no more. I have never been into Counter Strike. I just don't like it.
