All Things Microsoft > Microsoft as a Company
All your patents are belong to M$
linux-newbie:
M$ has changed license agreement for manufactures which EXEMPTS the Beast from any legal action related to patents held by the manufacturer.

God how scary.
Have any of you guys seen the movie Good Fellas? There's that part were the mob guys get sent to prisson, but they are so influential that it ends up being like staying at a resort and ends up making it easier for them to coordinate their illegal activity.
M$ is kinda viing for the same sort of treatment. They wanna twist this Anti-trust thing into a government approved buisness deal. And I think those squirmy worms have enugh clout to pull it off.
A while back they tried the same thing when they were gonna send PCs loaded with windows to underprivilleged schools as an act of good will. Can anyone say "inculcation".
I personally don't know how Bill and his cronies go to sleep at night knowing that their quest in life is to screw people over at any cost.
All hail the all mighty dollar!

Things get messy, though on converged devices such as the Xbox. If rivals aren't using a Microsoft operating system, they ought to be using some other Microsoft technology which now or in the future, could provide a royalty-stream, The Beast figures.
