Theme options are much more limited in OS X than in 9. 9 had hundreds and hundreds of Kaleidoscope themes that changed every possible thing about your appearance, much more so that the few things that Windoze themes did.
I still use it on my OS 9 box. Have a look at www.kaleidoscope.net

In OS X, I just replaced the default aqua interface with a custom grape one.

I have shitloads of beautiful 128x128 icons, but my dekstop is toally devoid of icons or anything. I have full access to everything I need with a right-click though. All by hard drives and home directory  appear in a contextual menu, no matter what app I'm using. Quite nice.

The iBook swan guy [at http://homepage.mac.com/megasad/ibookswan/ ] had a MacOS XP theme (Making OS X look like windows) I also saw a really cool theme changer at Macworld NY, I just need to remember what it was called...

A few I found:
Condrum Software makes a theme changer http://www.conundrumsoft.com/Duality/duality.html

The OS X native system enhancement list http://osx.hyperjeff.net/Apps/Enhancements.html

I was talking to someone about a theme for OS 9 that makes it look convincingly look like OS X. I need to find out where to download it.

Thats all for now.

Don't forget to FSCK your Mac! It will love you for it.

The only reason your worthless comments are still here is because I don't want to risk my moderator position over deleting all your posts and then banning you.

Don't overstep your boundaries. Maybe if you read into the thread far enough to understand it instead of posting a knee-jerk immature reply to the thread title, we'd tolerate you more.

In what way did the_black_angel lie? Even if it weren't true, which it is, it's still an opinion. Those two words demonstrate Microsoft's entire mentallity. "Whatever might risk marketability is not true." The even scarier thing is that Microsoft's customers have begun to adopt this mentallity, although I know in the past we've questioned whether or not Xpee Luser is a M$ employee. Still, I know people who talk like him.
