I remember somepeople complaining about lack of customizability in Mac OSX. This site has alot of third party dodads that you may wan't to check out:

Pay special attention to a little app calld Duality3 it's a Theme changer for OS X for thos of you who are sick of the Aqua look. (Though I don't know who would be, it is fun to mess with tho    )

WOW! This thing is real wierd. It changes the entire OS into a 3D environment. Very cool! Im not messing with it tho

The 3D one looks cool as long as their is a way to go back if you mess up

however this is no substitute for Aqua
