Has anyone tried Mac06?

Oops, I meant to clarify that in my last post.

It's not just for "Classic Macs" as I first posted. It's for Classic OS (7.0 or later). It should run on any Mac with at least 68020 and 8 MB of RAM.

I edited the first post to make it clear. Sorry for the confusion.

Briefly, it's shareware, but the site doesn't have the price. It says the price is in the documentation.

It says:
Mac06-Basic
Single User: $0

Mac06-Advanced
Single User: $10
Site License: $100

Mac06-Development
Single User: $20
Site License: $200

The site license is different because: (from their manual)

quote: A site licence is equivalent to 10 users and covers all locations of your institution/organization within a 160km (100 miles) radius of your site. One big advantage of a site licence is that you do not need to keep track of how many people at your site are using the software.

As for running regular Linux:
I don't know how well YDL will run modern applications on a 6500...YDL will install on there, but unless you upgraded it a 50 MHz 603e is very skimpy by today's standards.
