CHK error
« on: 2 July 2003, 14:16 »
I installed Mac OS 8 on my LC 575.

I was able to use it but when i restarted it, i got this error "CHK error"

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Sincerely,
Daniel

the only info i found that seems to be relevant was something about getting the chk error because the drive is fucked. The woman who had the problem said that she had warnings during install about the drive, but installed anyways. when she restarted, she had the same errors as you. Only, there was no follow up. I will look around some more. I wish i knew classic better   :(
