What do you thin of Apple buying eMagic?

So Apple bought eMagic and left 70,000 Windoze music makers users hangin in the cold and pissed.

Sure I feel a little bad for them, but more than anything else, I feel good.

I would have done the same. Nobody does any professional audio work on a Windows PC. What Apple has done is ensured a market for their hardware as long as someone wants to use Logic or Cubase.

Lest we forget that Digidesign Pro Tools is overwhelmingly Mac as well, they'll have the pro audio market nicely covered.

All kinds of sound celebs use Macs. From Moby to Trent Reznor. You'd have to be stupid to do sound work on a Windows PC.
