Just when you thought comparing Apple with cars dealers was invalid.

I don't know much about cars, I must admit. I've heard good things about Volkswagen, though. I've also heard that they have a lot in common with Apple, as both seem to agree.

To hell with iPods. I NEED A MAC!!!   :D

A friend just got a superb deal on an 600mhz ibook, that's what you need Laukev7    :D

Also seen some amazing deals on power books on ebay recently, I swear prices are dropping for refurb / second user macs.

I am seriously considering an iBook for Uni. Only, my parents think it may be a bit early to get a laptop right now; they think I should wait until next year. I had waited for the G5 to come out to make my mind on switching to the Mac. Now the G5 is out, it's only a matter of time. And I decided to switch my desktop as soon as Microsoft unleashes Palladium to the unsuspecting masses. Oh well, at least in the mean time, I can enjoy the 600 MHz iMacs with OS9.

Damn, if only I had got a job this summer... Now I'm a bored student with no revenue and no Macintosh.   :(

Always thought VW and apple went together. Oddballs. Outcasts. Long haired tree huggers.   ;)

To make VW fit with Apple you have to see the hippie tree hugger side.
To make VW and Microsoft fit together you have to see the NAZI, Volks Wagen, People's Wagon, thought up by Hitler.

And what does Microsoft have to do with hippies or tree huggers? I recall that Steve Jobs was a hippie, not Monkey boy or Nerdball (not that I have anything against nerds).

I think some of the WinXP wallpapers have sort of a tree-hugging attitude.

Yeah, but all that blue plastic isn't good for the environment.

Ah, but you miss one of the major components in any Mac haters' argument! Windows has recycling bins while Macs have trash cans, therefore, if we follow this logic, Macs must suck, right? Makes perfect sense to me.

that reminds me of when I was talking to my friend about something, I said something about the trashcan, then he said in windows its called the recycle bin, because microsoft cares about the environment

then we both shared a hearty laugh
just say know
