what's the specs on your Mac?

i have an iMac (5 flavors) - it's only a 333mhz with 288mb ram, but OSX still runs great on it.

Mac OSX 10.1.2 (SP48)

iMac 500 MHz (G3) - Graphite
384 MB
30 G

OS X runs just fine on my computer, though I haven't exactly witnessed its performance on any other Mac.

SHAH AWAKENS!

That's news in itself.

Anyway . . . I'm running 10.1.2 on:

G4 Cube 450 (CD-RW)
1.1 GB RAM
20 GB hard drive

and

PowerBook G3 (Pismo, Rev. B) 400
384 MB RAM
10 GB hard drive

It does reasonably well (more than usable) on the PowerBook, and nicely on the G4 Cube.

G4 DP 450 1.5 GB RAM assorted HDs
TiBook 500 1.0 GB RAM 48GB TravelStar

Buy more RAM boys and girls!  OS X loves it.

Graphite iMac 600/256mb/40gb HD.

It's a nice little machine, but I wish I had the money to put out for a full G4 tower.

Right now I'm using OS X on my roomie's computer:

PowerMac G4 450Mhz
768MB RAM
65GB hard drive space (a 40GB and a 25GB)
generic Combo drive (DVD/CD-RW)

By the end of the week I'll hopefully be running this, though:

iMac (flat panel) 800Mhz
768MB RAM
60GB hard drive
Superdrive (yeah, baby!)

OS X runs fairly well on his machine, with a few annoyances here and there; mostly the problems I've had are Apple's own fault, though (such as the lag when an icon starts bouncing in the dock to get your attention).

What I'd LIKE to be running is one of those new dual 1Ghz towers . . . not like I can afford one, though! (-;

Oh, and as far as I know he's running the latest build; I'm not completely certain, though.
