I don't think these problems will affect most users.

And the G5 has already become a big seller garnering some rave reviews. Apple has a great reputation for timely updates and I have no doubt the problems will be resolved in due time.

However I do wonder if the OSX server issue may have led to the recent Navy Purchase of hundreds of G5's running Yellow dog Linux. Also an interesting story in it's own right.

None the less, the server issues dosn't seem to have stoped the universety of Virginia from forming one of the worlds largest superclusters out of G5's alone. Apple is gonna do great with this product, no doubt about it.
