you want trolls banned?

It seems no troll was banned , and everyone want's this guy and that guy banned.

It's VERY simple all you have to do is write an email to:
  [email protected]    then go and type in the subject field: trolls on the board, and write your message!

simple, eh? so GET OFF YOUR LAZY ARSE AND WRITE A DAMN LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we mail in enough letters he'll ban rkmaster, king of the world and everyone else who's trolling.

How many times do I have to explain the same thing over and over. It is IMPOSSIBLE to ban trolls.
There are 2 ways to try to do so:

1. Ban their IP
2. Delete their account

Banning IP will not work because most trolls usually post from public computers or via proxy. Banning those IP addresses will only harm others.

Delete accounts will just waste more webspace because the troll will then create a new one.

Do not feed the trolls!

This means you ignore them, completely and NEVER give them anything to eat.  For a forum this size it would take a few months for the trolls to be tired and give up and considering how many troll-baiters this board has they'll never leave.

This man speaks truth. Do not fucking reply to trolls. Jesus fucking christ people. Ignore them. Its easy. If you do that, and send a mod a pm with the link to the thread, then trolls wouldn't be a problem.

Other forums don't seem to have any problems banning trolls at all. Why's it so hard for us?

Banning goes against the idea that webmaster had for this site. Free speech, freedom, blah blah blah. Banning only works if you have to pay for membership. They can always get back. But. It does make it more of a hassle. Im all for bans. But not on this site.

The trolls mission is to annoy us here at the forum. They are doing a very good job of it 2. They know they are bugging us, so they will keep doing it until we show them it doesn't bother us anymore!

banning their IPs will at least discourage them, a lot are too lazy to find a proxy.
But ignoring them is the best way to get rid of them.

Only the webmaster can ban trolls and i think he checks his email about once every 3 or 4 months.
