What is ARS and BF? And girls in Linux underwear? I think MWNH would prefer men in Linux underwear.   :D

These forums work so good because there is anarchy, mods are leaders and icons(of good or evil), not autoritarians. Only the most ghey of threads reach the dead thread zone. Sadly X11 wants to change that(see trolls thread). Please X, keep the anarchy alive! /spraypaints Anarchist symbol

Rudecat7, your post (Linux vs. BSD) belonged in the Ars Lounge.

There isn't much tolerance at Ars for threads to 'develop into something', especially at the Battlefront. Either start a worthwhile thread with actual OS contention, or don't bother posting.

The Ars Posting Guidelines are very clear about this.

I like Ars. I like MES, both for different reasons. You (Rudecat7) only aggravated the situation (and thereby making you look very ignorant) by bitching about your thread (appropriately so) getting locked.

I don't want to start a forum war here. If you had read the rules, this wouldn't have happened.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the ARS forum?

MacUser3of5:
Ars OpenForum

A technical discussion forum for just about everything computer related... with some weird forums thrown in (The Velvet Room, for example)

www.ars-technica.com is its parent, a tech news site.
