I know what you guys said about not anwsering him, but I only have one thing to say, "NOT REALLY". There is no way you can make something illegal for just being out there, if it doesn't violate standard human ethics. (notice I didn't say standard giant software company ethics)

i disagree, tons of stuff has been made illegal just for being there. The marijuana thing is a good example, also many of the English and Australian laws, for a start. In England, it is still actually illegal for a woman to wear makeup! the punishment is death by burning. Also, it's illegal to refuse to accept a bank of england one pound note as payment for something, the punishment is that you get thrown in jail for one month by the King's Highwaymen. Those highwaymen do not exist anymore, and the bank of england stopped making one pound notes in 1982...
There's a ton of other ones. There's one town on the England/Wales border, where it is legal to shoot a Welshman after dark, just because some bigshot did once ages ago, and they quickly pushed the law through so he wouldn't get prosecuted!

true freedom only comes through disorder and chaos *cough anarchy cough* however this is not a viable solution, and i would agrea that there are too many bullshit laws, like the marijuna law, the dmca, various other ones you mentioned, i mean, look at the U.S gov. we kick the british out of this contry becuase of taxs, patrick henry would have a heart attack if he saw taxiation with representation. these bullshit laws have gone too far

Hey calum, I saw on the news here a while ago that dutch coffeeshop owners are organising courses for brittish aspiring coffeeshop owners, I believe there are some tests running in england where it is legal to smoke in a coffeeshop, the coffeeshop can't legally sell any marijuana though.
to get back to the original topic, the worst thing about any M$ EULA is that all changes to future versions also affect the license you accepted. So if M$ updates their EULA so that you will sell your soul to M$ when accepting the EULA you in fact will have already sold your soul, now imnsho this is a Bad Thing.

one more thing :

I soooo definatly not agree with this, last election here I very much wanted to vote, but there was not one single party (or person) who I would want to give my vote too, should I then vote for some party which I don't agree with just for the sake of voting?
