That is why I use Google

And I haven't been to a website hosted by Yahoo! in like a billion years (Is it just me or do those "free" web hosts contain nothing of interest due to how they censor everything?)

Hey,

I use Google search also, but I am in several groups in Yahoo. So I have to deal with this crap.
It is easy enough to block images from Yahoo sites. Just a hassle is all.  :(

try using opera, available for most platforms, it has a button on the browser button bar for selectively turing graphics on and off, you can also specify images to view one by one, or have a certain amount cached but accept no more new ones...
mozilla is good, but that's the thing that makes me prefer opera...
