Good and Crappy Saturday Morning cartoons
« on: 24 July 2004, 07:27 »
I got inspired by Paladin9's post, so...

Which one in your opinion is the most retarded Saturday morning cartoon yet?

My vote: that craptastic cartoon that played on ABC last year and which I had to endure before going to German class, starring three elementary school children who save the world utilising impressive superhero accessories such as skateboards and lassoes to defeat their enemies. It is such a piece of shit, I don't even remember the name of the cartoon.

The only thing I liked about it was to make fun of the characters as well as the strikingly similar and repetitive scenarioes.

I prevent being troubled by morning cartoons by going to a school that starts at 7am, and sleeping until 12 on weekends and summer.  :D

Thus I don't remember any.

you can never replace the shows you grew up with.

to me, everything pales in comparison to shows like: Animaniacs!, Pinky And The Brain, Freakazoid!, etc...

why? because I grew up watching them.
2 motherfuckers have sigged me so far.  Fuck yeah!

That's not safe...     Plus I wake up at 12, but go to sleep around 4.

Soz, My generation had no crappy toons. Just to name a few as examples...

Hong Kong Phooey, Scooby Doo, Looney Toones, Spider Man, Spider Man and his Amazing Friends, Underdog, Felix the Cat, Laugh-o-lympics, Speed Buggy, Johnny Quest (TOS), Pink Panther, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic 4, The Justice League, School House Rock, Speed Racer, Pheonix Force, Popeye, Trollkins, Space Ghost

That's all I can think of right now.

Alright. I've often been told that I'm too negative, so...

What are your FAVOURITE cartoons?

I was a big fan of Garfield and Friends. Looney toons were great, too. Animaniacs rocked, too bad I haven't watched it as much as I would have wanted too...
