In The GIMP:
File >> Acquire >> Screen Shot
There are other programs that let you take sceenshots, but I don't know which ones RH includes, so I just used The GIMP.

Isn't Ksnapshot included in RH?
Works pretty well.

In RedHat 8.0 you just press the PrintScreen button and it brings up a snapshot tool (similar to ksnapshot) with your snapshot ready to save to a file of your choice.

Heh, Void Main, so you're starting to like RH 8.0 with it's snazzy looks and ease-of-use?

Yes I do. My initial reaction was completely wrong. It's definitely a nice package. It's the most refined I have seen to date and everything appears to just plain work. Lostsa new graphical tools for everything that should make the new users happy.
KDE really is f00ked up and the fonts look crappy in Konqueror but I am finding that the new Gnome/BlueCurve stuff is pretty good (not nearly as configurable as KDE but that means easier for n00bs) and Mozilla kicks butt!
And it was very easy to turn my powerful desktop into a Terminal Server for my slow laptop. Now I have new life on this old laptop in a BIG way. Just took checking a single checkbox in the system settings on my desktop machine and that was it. Couldn't ask for more than that.
