I kinda get it...but I think you should:

1) Put a mission statement on the front page. Get your point and purpose across ASAP.

2) That blinking button is annoying

3) The scrolling text on the title bar is annoying

4) It's hard to tell what is a link and what isn't from a stupid person's point of view...not really an issue, but just to make a note.
