This is a competition for all the people here that are either still in school or just out of school (high school, uni whatever).

Post the link to your schools web page. There are two categories the best and the worst.

I'm going for the best sevenoaks it may take a little while to load though

well i left high school in 1995 and college in 1996, but this topic prompted me to actually go and check if those venerable institutions actually have web pages! and guess what they (kind of) do.

here's the 'under construction' page of my erstwhile high school

and here's the website of my erstwhile college

I think they can both be nominated for the WORST however my particular worst vote goes to the Thurso College site (the 2nd one). click on the 'click here to enter button' to find out why. [edit - you're supposed to find yourself here.]

w00t! I'm fucking homeschooled, which means that even if my academic organisation had a website, it would be hovering somewhere between "Blowing Goats" and "NSA homepage"
That reminds me of something, but I can't quite remember . . .

Where do I go? Well the 1337 underground schools me because I was adopted by an organi... errr I go to Adult education.

Adult education is housed in a building in a closed down elementary school. We live in three classrooms, and a foyer. Strangely, we have so much room that usually you can be alone if you want, or be near the teacher and other students. This program gives adults a full fledged high school diploma without having to do some of those other ghey courses.

Now the thing is, non-adults or young adults can also go to this program. It actually seems there is quite a few youth. The interesting thing is that they treat you like an adult, so all the teens act like an adult or they get kicked out. It's actually quite nice. You don't get in trouble if your late because you can come and go as you please. Miss a week? No problem. Come at 1PM? No problem. That's because we're all looked at as adults here. There is also the coffee maker... mmmm coffee.

The wierd thing is that this great program doesn't have very many people in it at one time. There is anywhere from 3-8 students in the building on average. So you can get alot of help from the teacher if you need it.

All in all, what a great way to get your grade 11 and grade 12.
