I have just insalled cygwin
and it can compile & run Unix applications
on "Microsoft Wingoewz" and the like...
It works, i have lynx and the usual shit installed.
But i think i will get Xfree86 installed.
Anyway its quite nice... in fact
I FUCKING LOVE IT.
Im going to try to compile my Lovly D0D Exploits, which Mr Clock love sooooo much.

cygwin is like building a concrete house on quicksand.....
If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly.

WHHHATTTT?
I have Red-Hat 7.2 and FreeBSD on my box, but when im talking on trillian, sometimes a barsted ticks me offffff so i use this and do a D0D and they arent able to do it.... And for some reason it keeps crashing computers on my network when i do these.
But its not just for D0D attacks its handy for people to learn UNIX. And it didnt take LONG to download...

Anyway talking unix, who knows a good Floppy Unix thats not Linux ?????????????????????

x11, i know you have those OSs, but i was just saying, for the benefit of somebody who might be new to it all and thinking of cygwin, to me it sounds like you get the worst of both worlds.

re: a floppy of unix, i have two floppy OSs, one IS Linux, it's Trinux. It fits on 3 floppies, and you have to install it from DOS (the copy i have anyway), it IS Linux, but it is specifically designed with security in mind, and doesn't resemble a linux that i have tried before anyway.

The only other unix i have on a floppy is PicoBSD, i am sure you have seen the recent thread where i have problems installing it, and VoidMain offers a solution (which i haven't had time to try yet!) but anyway, PicoBSD is a nonlinux unix on a floppy, only including the tools for networking. You will be able to download it from somewhere, failing that, i can email it to you, it's only a couple of Mb.
