so would i! it would be good to actually take this outside of the forums for once! i can't really give much to be honest, but i will do whatever research or emailing or whatever needs done, administrative stuff.

i vote for avello to take the reins and coordinate us. i really like this idea avello, and i don't want to see it fall by the wayside!

im involved with a non-profit company thats going for tax-exemption. if i try to change government policy or politics then i am disqualified from running this company. so i cant be in charge when this all comes to a head. so eventually someone will have to take over. in the meantime, what i think would be benificial is our own channel here in this forum or another, that way we could keep track of progress and work things out. we would need a couple mods to make sure flamers are taken care of. i think if we focused on on multiple areas at once we could bring all of it together. we could make a post for data verification, another for those who could work on collecting email address, another for those working on the letter. i think if we leave this open to those who want to help then we could get lots of people involved and then no-one is over worked. and i become a face a face in the crowd. so how do we go about getting some space on the forum?

My two cents. I still feel like I just got here, and I wonder what all the fuss is about. Is this place really having problems? Just a dry spell? Will it all be a ghost town in 6 months?

Ok then, if this place IS having trouble now or in the near future, I need a new home, or at least a new place to "dual boot" to from time to time.  ;)

What Linux message board community is active, full of highly talented people, and tailored for the Linux newbies? Yes, I know how to use a search engine, I just respect the opinions of those who came before me...
