Never heard of the Knights Templar? Never heard of the crusades? This was almost 1000 years ago when the holy land was threatened by the forces of Islam. So they set out on a mission to secure the city of Jerusalem for the sake of Jesus.

The templars were feared and hated by the arabs who still today see the US threat of war as a continuation of these crusades. This has more to do with Iraq then you think! Those who do not see the link between the crusades in the eleventh century aren
