if we would use that money to convert to a different fuel besides gasoline we would just cut off the middle easts money supply.  Which would cut down on terrorist funding.

I like Ronald Reagans idea of " We don't deal with terrorists" better

now, I do believe that we had to do something to Iraq to let the world know that if you attack us with terrorism we will drop bombs on your soil.

but this is getting old

Yes, all well and good but it wasn't Iraq or Saddam that attacked the US. Now he want's to spend that much money to get himself out of jam. It's common man in the street that has to pay for fuckwit politicians like this, Bush, Blair, Blah, blah. They all make me sick.

Imagine what could be done with that money, as you've already said research into alternate fuels etc... That would be far more productive in the long run than destroying countries by pounding them with ordnance, just to prove a point. Anyway it's nothing to do with terrorism and everything to do with oil and control.

Here's another criminal, admittedly this one doesn't look like a monkey. Don't be fooled though.

Another question why is petrol (gas) so cheap in the States? $1.69 according that (really cool) site. Here in the UK we pay on average

You've been living in the UK for WAY too long.  I think what bush has done is acknowledged that all these terrorist attacks are just a very cowardly country's ways of attacking the U.S.  And so YES  this is a war,  and wars are very expensive.

But the way these terrorists fight make it very difficult for the U.S. to defeat them in anyway. You  can't just take control of Iraq and it will all go away.  Its much more complicated than that.

Anyways,  I wish you Europeans would just keep your opinions to yourselves because you really have no idea what your talking about.  All you know is that the U.S could make your gas prices higher, as if they weren't already sky high.

Its a very selfish opinion when you think about it.  Your not really concerned about anyones best interest except those people in Iraq. Which most happen to be very anti american for religous reasons.  Did your parents teach you to hate americans or was it the media ?

Actually, the very fact that he does not live in the United States probably makes him less ignorant about your country than you are. Zardoz and I, unlike you, are not as exposed to American propaganda as you are.

Firstly, the CIA has found (and has said from the beginning) that there was no link between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein. Yet Bush has been using this as an excuse to make your people go to a pointless war, only to officially deny that he had said that.

Secondly, as you are hopefully aware by now, none of the stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction have ever been found in Iraq, even after six months of occupation. There was no proof that Iraq had any weapons, yet Bush invaded anyway, despite the protests of the UN and the rest of the world. Very strange, also, that a few months before 9/11 Condelezza Rice (or another of Bush's cronies) had said that Saddam Hussein was not a threat to America.

And also... Oh, the heck with it. Just check out this website. Made by Americans.

No it hasn't nothings been proved. in fact all that has been proved is the dubious means by which both Bush and Blair lead us into this farce .

Well they certainly don't play by the rules       :D

No I won't. I have as much right as you do to voice my opinions, or has that right been abolished? As for not knowing what we / I am on about. What you seem to forget is that here in the UK we have had a bit more experience with terrorism than you. In fact I missed a bomb planted by the IRA in Victoria station by 2 minuets. So don't talk to me about having no idea. OK. We've had decades of it. Any act of terror is cowardly.

Make gas prices higher? No, that's not what I asked was it. I questioned why gas prices were so low in the States. Although everything seems to be expensive here, rip-off Britain they call it.

Did you read anything I wrote? No I'm certainly not anti-American, in fact I'm not anti any one nation, creed or religion. Why did you instantly assume I was being anti-American. I certainly believe that the way your government has behaved is a disgrace. I also happen to think the same about the British government, so no I'm not singling out anyone for special attention. Just because your or my goverment says it's "so", doesn't make it true or right. My point was to say that governments, politics, politicians have not changed. Both British and American (and not only just these two) policy has created resentment and ultimately terrorist. We can't solve the problem by inflicting more terror, it's plain stupidity to think we can bomb people into peace. It a waste of money and lives, the other point I was trying to get across.

P.S: I also think you'll find that most Iraqis are anti American not because of religious reasons (even Islam teaches killing is wrong) but that you're killing them and generally shitting on them from a great height. That sort of behaviour generally makes you more enemies, not less.

Thats actually pretty funny since I'm to busy on the computer to be exposed to american propaganda on the TV, radio, text or what ever.  I'm not like you. I don't listen to the news on the "american" tv at all.  So to say that I have been exposed to american propaganda is also just assuming things.

Now i will admit i didn't read all of your post.  But thats only because Im a fat, lazy, stupid american

Usually the reason i don't ever talk about the war right now is because people who have opinions about it have made up their minds and don't plan on changing them any time soon.
