Some People.... (Now starwars junk)

Fett101:
Well... technically, that above story about Jaster is a false one that was spread around before ep2 (ya know. To up the mystery thing). Therefore, Boba is a clone of Jango. And George Lucas has scurvy. (oh. excuse me. Space scurvy)

hm_murdock:
Read Jango's bio in the New Essential Guide to Characters. Jaster was Jango's trainer, and Boba went back to him to get his own set of armor. And remember, the books aren't 100% canon the way they are in Star Trek. Trek lets everything get fucked up because any dick, bob, or steve can come up with their own stuff and have it be called "real star trek"

The only 100% canon Star Wars stuff is what comes from Lucas.

psyjax:
This is fun stuff, but non-Mac. Keep talking starwars junk tho  :D

Moving to lounge.

Kintaro:
If only you knew the power of the source

Pissed_Macman:
When epsiode II came out and I heard about Jango I beat my head against several walls because I had read all the books and thought I had it figured out. After coming up with several theories myself I bought the new essential guide and was relieved to see that everything was explained, no thanks to Mr. Lucas of course.

And actually, if you've read the essential chronology you'd see that not just the novels are canon, but so are comic books and video games. There are very few errors though. The other big one that comes to mind is threepio's origins. In one novel it was stated that threepio was created a hundred years ago on a droid-producing moon, but Mr. Lucas seemed to ignore that idea and make up his own. I haven't heard this one explained, but a good explanation is that threepio had a memory wipe sometime between episode I and episode IV. Thank the Force that StarWars isn't as fucked error-wise as StarTrek.
