And guess what happens when I click on 'continue using hotmail'?  Hotmail works perfectly, and is viewed 100% correctly.  Even with IE I can't asy that!

It's a tactic to scare people that don't know their ass from their elbow.  They get all scared and Download IE.  Notice they didn't put a link to download navigator?

I get this all the time, actually, when using Opera 6 on windows, you cannot continue using hotmail! it's not a browser limitation either i believe, since Opera can display all other sites fine, and in fact if you set it to identify as IE, hotmail works fine.

PS, is that Opera 6 on MacOS? i'll need to see about upgrading...

I fucking hate Hotmail.  I get the "currently unavailable" massega all the time.  What about when people really need to read their email and they're pressed for time?   :mad:

And do you know why the server goes down in the first place?  Because it's running Windows 2000 server - that's why.   :cool:

so they don't let you use opera id'd as opera, but id'd as internet explorer it renders fine.... that is a possible lawsuit.  someone email the opera folks, i don't use it

They first ran FreeBSD and Hotmail ran very good. Then Microsoft took over, tried to move Hotmail over to a NT server, than failed, continued to use use FreeBSD, masked the server so it appears it's running IIS on Windows 2000, and now they actually try to move their f**ked up shit to Windows 2000 with catasrofic consequenses as you saw in my screenshot (I'm using Mozilla now, btw   )

i heard that at hotmail. everytime they tryed to take down a few FreeBSD servers and put up a few IIS servers. on the other side of the place someone had to put up a few more FreeBSD servers.

When i have my own webserver i think i will get www.fuckhotmail.com and create my own free email service, and have everything twice as good as hotmail.
