I just got this a couple of days ago. When things settle down and I have some time to do another site update, look for me to respond to this sea of garbage on the

First of all, Microsoft kicks ass! Second, Macs suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason schools use Macintoshs is because Apple gives schools deals on them because nobody else wants them, and no, I'm not just bashing on Macs because I haven't ever used one. I have used a lot of them. They were the only things cheap and crappy enough for my highschool and junior high to buy. We used them for everything, cause our school was cheap. I even learned how to type on a Mac when I was in junior high. I do know what I am talking about, and MACS SUCK!!! For one thing, they aren't real computers. They are more like toys. For another thing, try personalizing your Mac. Good luck. My dad has built all of our computers in our household since I was about 2 years old, and now we have a computer (or more) in every room. They all have exactly the options that we want them to, cause we built them. My computer has a CD Burner, a DVD and VCD player which attatches to the TV, the modem of my choice, and is about the equivalent of a Pentium III. Try customizing a Mac. First of all, you can't. You can't buy an empty tower for a Mac, cause they don't sell them, cause then it wouldn't be a Mac. All Macs have the same shape, and similar options. You will never find a tower to build your own Mac in. On top of that, it would suck anyway cause it would have Mac software which I have trouble not believing was designed as a toy for children and the computer illiterate. Good luck with customizing your computer. That's probably why it's called a Mac, and not a PC (PERSONAL computer). It's not meant to be personal. It's just meant to be a piece of crap that looks exactly like millions of other pieces of crap, except for all of the pretty colors. Computers aren't meant to be pretty. They were meant to perform tasks. If you want attractive, throw away your computer and become an artist. If you want tasks to be performed, join the real world and get a real computer. Can you program in C++ or Java on a Mac? I haven't seen many sites to downloads Java compilers for Macs. That's not to say that it isn't out there, but it's not exactly a common thing to see. Look at the real world. Outside of public schools and the homes of the computer illiterate, you just don't see people using Macs. The choice seems to be IBM compatible and running some form of Windows. The real world uses Microsoft compatible operating systems, meaning Windows. Is Windows perfect? Of course not. It has errors. Why have none of the Macs that I have used ever had errors? Probably because they were too simple to have errors. Macs don't exactly have a lot to them. Look at most places of business. You see a Mac here and there, but what are the majority of computers? IBM compatible computers. That's right. Most people don't want Macs in the workplace, and as far as I've seen that's how my college is too. There are a few Macs around, but the majority of Professors use IBMs, and I have not yet met a student with a Mac in his dormroom. Get real. I would be embarrased if someone walked into my dormroom and saw a Mac. They suck!!! The really ironic part is that as an attempt to get people to like Macs, Apple made "Power" Macs have the capability of running IBM compatible programs. What does this say? If the Mac was cool or even a decent computer, than why the need to add the IBM compatability? Notice that it's more powerful and is called a POWER Mac once it can run IBM compatible programs. What I would get from this is maybe that IBMs are more POWERful than Macs. The Mac wasn't quite making it on it's own, so it had to copy it's enemy and yet still keep it's own crappy qualities that nobody other than a completely computer illiterate person would even want anyway. I think this is a pretty good sign that IBM compatability is the way to go. It's a fact of reality that along with IBM compatability, people are going to choose what is well known, commonly used, and known to work well as an operating system. This means Windows for most people. There again, you can have INDIVIDUALITY with your PC, in the choice of 3.11, 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, and now even XP, and on top of that, you can even put a partition on your hardrive and have more than one operating system. Try that with a Mac. I have yet to see a Mac that has it's normal self on one part of the hardrive and Windows ME on the other. Power Macs may be close, but they're certainly no cigar. I have used IBMs at home my entire life, and all forms of Windows, even forms that are long forgotten now and by all rights belong in a museum of old stuff, and I can honestly say that I am happy with Microsoft. Internet Explorer is much better and has far fewer errors than the America Online Browser. You can control every single thing that your computer does or does not do by pressing ctrl-alt-del and seeing a popup menu of everything that is going on at once. Windows has a built in Media Player which can play videos and music much better than that worthless Quicktime program by Apple, and even with a cool psychadelic background that moves with the music. I can downoad MP3s (and every other kind of file), and upload them to my MiniDisc Player. I can do photoediting and scanning. I can surf the web. I can program in Java or C++. I can run my own programs that I have created. I can even send you this message about why I think your ideas against Microsoft are fucked up. Yes, Gates is rich. Yes, Microsoft probably does control the software market, but who cares? It's working. It's been working, and the products keep getting better, more reliable, and more interesting. It's not like we live in a communist country where we are told what we can buy. Gates made his money because people made the choice to buy Microsoft products because they have so far had good results overall. Who the fuck needs a Mac? By the way, I don't consider the fact that you guys are in control of fuckapple.com to be a threat against us Microsoft users. I just see it as a pathetic attempt to make it look like Mac users are a step ahead of PC users. Get real. Look at the computers in any place of business. You are most definately not a step ahead! Get a clue.
