Come on!  This is the Microsoft ERADICATION Society.  A very stupid place to ask for help with Microsoft products.

If not an offence it's at least offensive.

Fucking Christ, I knew someone would reply with that.  READ THE POST.  I didn't say they should be allowed to come in here and say "Microsoft rules, MSIE kicks ass" without being branded a troll.  What I said, for those who DIDN'T BOTHER READING THE WHOLE POST was that you can't shut out users merely for ASKING about a Microsoft product by not giving them alternative software for a platform which they may not have the requisite administrative priviliges to remove.  Baby steps, remember?

Now you're just being pissy because you think I said something I didn't.  

I'm not advocating Windows here, but correct me if I'm wrong - we WANT to swing Windows users over to other platforms, RIGHT?  Then we're going to need to meet them halfway with software solutions until we can convince them that the benefits of running an alternative OS far outweigh the costs - be they real or imagined.

Look I don't see any problems here. For many months now we've been having good debates and discussions. If people get into arguments, then let them be. Who cares? As long as their arguments dont turn into endless name calling, there's no problem. Forget this thread and let's move on.

I have one simple solution for you, Midnight Candidate:  do not reply or get involved in flame wars.  Just ignore those threads.  I started ignoring them and life got so much more pleasant!  We do, however, edit out the "fuck off" pictures and shit like that, that jimmy has posted in the past.  If we are too strict about flame wars, then I becomes hard to have an opinion.
