I was wondering if you would be willing to help me set up my linux box to make it "easy" like you say linux is.  I'm gonna download RH 9 when they release it on FTP, then I will install it.  Your info seems to have a bogus AIM and you don't accept PM's, this was the only way to reach you.  If you are interested in helping reduce the use of Windows on my PC to games only please email ([email protected]) or AIM me (jeffberg3000)

Thx for any help you are willing to give.

Word, X11.

RH9 is the perfect choice.  GNOME reminds me more of Mac OS (9 more than 10) than KDE does, especially by default.  It's also the best-made Linux OS, and has the least issues.  I'll certainly help ya with any problems you have.  There's one thing that makes it particularly easy and that's apt-rpm.  I'll show you how to use it when you get RH9 installed.

BTW you don't have to wait until RH puts it on their FTP, you can use bit torrent (forgot the link, google for it)

I'm downloading RH9 via bit torrent as I type this.  I want to try it out and it will also help me help you with any troubles you have.  The beta was pretty slick, this should be even better.
