OK, i love the forums but i have one HUGE gripe.  now before i start let me say that i HATE M$ and i use mainly freebsd.  HOWEVER....
When someone comes here to ask a question about which windows version sucks less, or how to get rid of WMP, please DO NOT say something like "windows sucks, use linux" or "download the solution here: redhat.com".  People - it gets SO ANNOYING when someone trys to get help with the crappy os that is windows and all they get is a "fuck you, windows blows".  That is VERY immature, i wish it would stop.

Well this web site was made as an effort to root out Windows.  Many people come here and they find themselves switching to Linux out of the blue (truely yours included).
  There are many Windows support forumswhere you can direct your questions.
  We choose not to support Windows by not giving any tech help.
 On the other hand if you post a question about Linux, you will get many replies and i might add helpfull replies.


   And oh yeah, get a real OS. Switch to Linux  ;)

Next time someone asks something about Windows, ignore him/her if your thinking to place a "Windows sucks, use Linux" reply.

Let the people reply who will help this poor soul, and say something like: OK, now you have Windows Messenger off your computer, but when you "eXPerience" Windows XP more, you'll find more inconviniences. You can choose to switch to another operating system now for free! You can even use Linux, BSD and Windows on the same computer via dual boot.

We've been over this 1000 times now and I'm going to say it another time. This IS NOT A FUCKING WINDOWS HELP SITE. It's perfectly apporpriate to say "Windows sucks, use something else". That's what this site is all about. Lately I've been at least giving them a warning that they will get flamed looking for Windows help here and they should go to a site like www.windowsbbs.com if they want help with Windows.

Now, bazoukas, I see you posted a nice RedHat 8 screen shot with your *.ppt file on it. Where did you post the image? Can you put your *.ppt file in the same place you put that image so we can get it? Was OpenOffice included with RH8 able to open it ok? I've found it does a good job opening PowerPoint files.
