Rather dead lately...
« on: 19 May 2004, 02:42 »
No trolls in sight, no heated discussions. How about inviting some mac, linux and (yuck!) windows gurus and let them run riot here? I miss those discussions in the old days when I was new to this place, before the trolls, before the let-go-mentality and the me-too attitude. After all, this forum was and still is about debunking the myths about windows

And then there is Jimmy James. He popes his hed in and whines about this fourm and the people who post in it. So on average I'd say we've been quite busy as far as trolls go.

Except I'm not a troll.

If you do not want to be a troll, then stop mouthing off to people.

cripes you guys throw around the word troll way too much.

trolls are basicly people here who come in with the intention of fucking shit up.

jimmy just makes big replies and tells you you're an idiot. just because hes not nice to everyone doesn't mean hes a troll.

I am not a troll.

I don't post disgusting images, I don't shout off racial slurs, and i really don't cause much mess. If some fuckhead posts some stupid shit, yes, I will run my mouth; who wouldn't?

I just got bored of bad mouthing MS. Its not productive. However, places like promote-opensource.org are productive. I'd rather chat there

relax Ecsyle, they define Troll as one who does not blindly follow their mindless groupthink of Pro Open Source, and deeply opposed to anything otherwise.

meanwhile I just sit back a sample the best that everything has to offer.
2 motherfuckers have sigged me so far.  Fuck yeah!

I truly believe the Open Source model works better(even commercially) and I do deeply oppose "anything otherwise"(resulting in insane software patens).

Why is that only mindless groupthinking?

Perhaps.
But I asked why and not when.
