Well I suppose the best thing microsoft could do to improve security is not enable so many insecure services by default. Also the new firewall in XP is a step in the right direction although might I add that linux has had this for years, and linux software firewalls are much more advanced. Here is another tip for microsoft, Im not trying to kill virus software compamies, but I hear so many Windows users complain that they have to spend $50 on antivirus software. The Microsoft OS promotes virii, so microsoft should maintain antivirus software free of charge. The consumers lose out because they knows that if they use windows, they must buy antivirus software. If virii were an issue in linux, there wouldnt be a single distro that didnt include antivirus software.
