I have something to say to you Linux Uber loosers and Macintossers who are always badmouthing Windows XP>> Fuck OFF!!

Widnows Xp is a Great Operating Sistem and it has lots of more features than Lunix.

It has great hardware support -- Do you have that?
It has a great GUI -- Do you have that?
It has cool features BUILT RIGHT IN like messinger and IE -- Do you have that?
Product acrivation stops the piracy that has gone on too long -- DO you have that?
.NET will bring more power and choice to us windows users (aka 'The Master Race')
And TCPA will bring the ultimate in security and stability to us.
Our x86 processors kick your ass - Have you got above 2GHz yet?

Windows is a real OS with power, stability and then fun stuff to.
You are just a bunch of teens who think you're 31337 h4x0r5 but really you are just f*cking jeyboys. Go home, and i hope this site gets closed down for slander.

1) yes, supports MUCH more hardware than Windows.
2) yes, and many more than just "1" GUI.
3) yes, and without the spying.
4) Don't need it, no such thing as piracy in Free software
5) Ha ha ha ha!!!!!!
6) Ho ho ho ho!!!!!!
7) Can run on any processor Windows can run on and then boatloads of processors that Windows can't run on.
8) Ha ha ha ha!!!!!!
9) Fat chance.  Maybe you should actually try out a *real* OS.

You really should learn about something before you open your mouth boy otherwise you sound like the idiot you are.

Hardware support - most linux Distros will work on p-100 can you says the same for Windows XP - Also Darwin works fine one older machines as well its just Aqua can't

A Great GUI - Microsoft GUI compared to most of the other Alternatives is slow, clumbsy and ugly.

Built In Features - Sorry I Don't want to be forced to use Programs i like to choice what i use.

Product Activation - you are able to get around this by downloading an image of the net with the Activation removed. In no way does it stop Piracy and if you think it does you are deluding yourself.

.NET - forcing people to use microsoft only services, which in-fact lowers choice.

TCPA - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

x86 - OOOld technology, you abviously know nothing about hardware. look over some old threads this has been covered a couple of times.

Windows hoges resources, crashes on startup, and sorry to break it to you but all recent releases of games have been simultaneous releases between mac and PC, with one exeption Half-life and its offspring, but well i can live with that. And there are increaseingly being ports to linux of games Quake being a prime example.

Go and read a couple of books, actually use the different OSes for at least a month each and then come back and tell me that Windows is better. You want.

quote:

It has great hardware support -- Do you have that?

fact: windows xp didn't support my soundcard out of the box, had to install a driver for it, while linux did support it out of the box

fact: windows xp's nvidia driver has no opengl support ... had to install a seperate driver for it (had to install a driver for it for linux too, didn't have to reboot though)

linux 1 - windows 0

quote:

It has a great GUI -- Do you have that?

yes ... with translucent menus, something windows hasn't got....

linux 2 - windows 0

quote:

It has cool features BUILT RIGHT IN like messinger and IE -- Do you have that?

SuSE come's with 7 cd's.. the main install is covered on the first 2 discs which means you get 5 discs with programs (for just 40$)

including (but not limited too):

messaging programs
browsers
db servers
irc clients
games

linux 3 - windows 0

quote:

Product acrivation stops the piracy that has gone on too long -- DO you have that?

The only people not bothered with the WPA are the pirates ... how's that for irony?

plus I can install linux on as much machines as I want ... legally

linux 4 - windows 0

quote:

.NET will bring more power and choice to us windows users (aka 'The Master Race')

wrong ... the windows users (aka 'The Dumber Race') give in a lot of choice (basically the choices will be made by M$ for you)

linux 5 - windows 0

quote:

And TCPA will bring the ultimate in security and stability to us.

wrong ... TCPA will bring the ultimate in security to the record/movie industry and total control to M$. I'm going to deduct one point here for windows for the blatant invasion on my privacy. Linux scores for stability/security here

linux 6 - windows -1

quote:

Our x86 processors kick your ass - Have you got above 2GHz yet?

If gigahertz actually meant something and I wanted a 2Ghz+ CPU I could run linux on it. My trusty Athlon is a lot better though, I also have a compiler which can compile programs specifically optimized for my Athlon. And can windows run on anything but the x86 platform?

oooh ... another point for linux

linux 7 - windows -1

quote:

Windows is a real OS with power, stability and then fun stuff to.

fun stuff? yeah ... if swearing and cursing at your OS because it doesn't do what you want to do is your definition of fun stuff. 3d rendering with anti aliasing in text mode ... now that's fun stuff

linux 8 - windows -1

stability? LoL ... with my short experience with windows XP I had it reboot on me for no apparant reason on multiple occasions, the server on our work has uptime of 300+ days ... it's going down tomorrow to install a new kernel though

well ... we already added a point for stability so the score stays the same

I'll just ignore this comment .... maybe I should substract another point of windows' score for producing moronic idiots like this (but in all fairness ... that's not really windows' fault)

well ... final score:

linux 8 - windows -1

god ... debunking these little misinformed moronic fanboy posts is soooo much fun (even if I have to do it twice  :D )

The Linux kernel has hardware support for the latest hardware. Mac OS X has the greatest hardware support in the world.

This could be a matter of taste... but Linux GUI's like KDE and GNOME look even better than the Fisher-Prise GUI that comes with Windows XP. And the Mac OS X GUI looks pretty cool.

No... and it's a good thing too. We can REMOVE or ADD any browser or messenger we want -- Do you have that?

I have the Windows XP illegal... the crackers just remove the product activation, so that moronic feature won't stop piracy at all.

That's Microsoft promising you something. Don't expect Microsoft to keep promises.

Microsoft also said that when Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP was released. But really... did they?
