No, just kidding.  But you do need to realize that OSS is political.  It's similar to abortion, in that there is very little middle ground, and the extremists on both sides of the fence will snap at you any chance they get.  The primary argument is against halfassedness.  If you are against crime, and save money by buying stolen property, are you really against crime?  Similarly, if you use Mozilla on a Windows machine, you aren't truly supporting open source.  The best way around this is to quit trying to pretend to be an open source supporter.  You use Thunderbird because it is a superior product, not because it is free or because it is open source, right?  So for you, open source is conincidental.  Just admit to being a Mac lover or a Windows lover, and most of those guys will leave you alone.  I personally love my Mac too much to give it up.  But I still preach the gospel of Linux and contribute to open source projects.  It's like I am an open source fanboy at the office, and a Mac guy at home.

And what's with me not having permission to view half your site?

That doesn't mean that there are "Closed Source" apps that completely spank their "Open Source" Counterparts like: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premeire, Final Cut Pro, Flash MX 2004, iTunes, MS Office, Winamp, et al.
My point is, that just because there is Source code availible does not automagically make it a better app, no matter what ESR, RMS, etc... might say. Many OSS apps are very good, but not good enough compared to something propeitary. Alot of the time I CAN'T wait for the project maintainer to make the app not suck. Yet, I get flamed for not choosing an Open Source program over a propetary one.
