WARNING SPOILERS ALERT!!!

I thought the movie was very well-done, although I didn't see the point of the rave party at the beginning. The other thing I didn't like was the fight scenes. They were well-done and everything, but they went on way too long. I also thought it was kinda corney how Neo made Trinity come back to life. If he has that kind of power wouldn't everyone who entered the Matrix be invincible? My favorite scenes: the part where Neo fights all the duplicated Smiths. The camera perspectives were incredibly awesome during that part (all the Smiths were funny interacting with each other too). The other part I liked was when Neo started flying and there was fire behind him and that building exploded and there were cars and stuff flying around. And of course the end was also my favorite since I'm a big fan of suspense.

Say, did anyone else know to stick around through the credits to see the trailer for Matrix Revolutions? They even lowered the lights again for us at my theater.

My friends didn't like it for various reasons. My bro. was the main friend  :D

heheh, we have very similar taste, he went on a long rant over the phone as to why it sucked. Too long to explain here, Im serious.

Im gonna go see it sometime this weekend, so I'll probably be able to tell you why I think it sucks  ;)  since I probably will. Me and my bro, have very similar taste like I said.

CGI still isn't good enough to make realistic fights between human characters... I spent a good deal of the Neo/Agent Smiths fight noticing how fake it looked. It looked pretty darn good, but not enough.

The whole religious orgy thing wade me think I was watching a Teen T&A.

And the constant flashes forward meant that when they finally showed a scene, it was far more dull then it could have been.

Generally, I found it decent, but not near the first one.

awesome.  I do wish that they had no CG fighting, it was very easy to tell the difference.  What a fucking cliff hanger though.. Lord of the Rings wasn't as bad if a cliff hanger (maybe thats because I really don't care about Lord of the Rings and I do care about the matrix, but whatever... I'm going to see it again as I can.  I was hoping for more action, less story.. but the story turned out quite good and had many twists.

It was the Smith-in-the-real-world.

Apparently (although I missed it) torwards the end someone says that the sentinels "kept drilling" after they got to the Z place. WTF???  Why!

CGI isn't good enought to do that yet, but it did add some awesome effects to the smith fight scene in general.

The sentinels have not gotten to Zion yet that won't be for another "24 hrs"

I had no idea the third trailer was on there!!! I have to go see it again now.

Oh jeebers, I thought when the ship captain was talking about how there was "only one survivor" when they went back that he meant one survivor from Zion...  damn, did he just mean the defense?  I'll have to go watch it again to clarify.

the car chase was cool, the smith battle was awesome, and although the storyline isn't as enthralling as the first (maybe because since i bought the DVD for matrix 1 i've watched it at least 50 times--not lieing), i like it more. more action. i already know the storyline (and the scripts for the first one) by heart, i need action now, and Matrix reloaded certainly does that    i think i'm going out to see it tonight w/ a friend (or at least i hope i'm going to see it again tonight)

i had no idea about the trailer at the end...as someone said, GREAT marketing stratedy, cause i'm going again, and i want to watch that too

also: somethink cool i found out: a 17 minute fight scene cost $40 million!!

Yeah I heard they actually had to build that highway, but I'm not sure that's the fight scene you're referring to.
