I recently went into a "Dick Smith Electronics" store (An aussie franchise) where there was about 10 computers all running XP. They all has Internet Explorer on some page... I pointed about 6 of them to the "Whats so bad about Microsoft" article on this site! Then i just pretended to look at som DVD's and looked to see what people thought.

Some people has a good look, until the staff came and fixed it... I went to another place at the store to look at some subs, when a security gaurd told me to leave. (Damn those cameras watching the PC's)

Oh well...

I once redirected all the computers at school to Nathan's Internet Explorer is evil! page.

That was fun  ;)

I put a password protected screen-saver on all the XP computers at Gateway to say "To get a real computer, go to www.apple.com. Or at least get a real OS from linuxiso.org"

I actually don't have anything against x86 - I just wanted to anger the Gateway folk.

yeah, i did that at "best buy". i locked a few windows xp machines. They only had one account setup with no password, so i just created a password and restarted the machines.
the next time i went in they had fixed their errors, all the machines had passwords. but what a pain in the ass, have to reinstall the os on all those machines. and those half witted "tech" guys at best buy couldnt change the desktop picture let alone install anything. anyways, it was fun.

things were most fun back in the late 3.x and early 95 days, when nobody had any fucking clue about how passwords worked. If you knew how to set them, you were a l337 god.
Go the fuck ~

With XP change the Computer Description to "and get an apple" and the Login screen will have at the bottom

Turn off and get an Apple

At my school, i hack the registry and install as a wallpaper any Linux wallpapers i can find on the web.

Mind you, they have the boxes, locked, no downloads, no change to settings, no nothing.

Yet you can go via explorer and hack the registry like its going out of style.
Yeah

Every weekend my Mac buddies and I drive to Tacoma to fix up the Apple Store inside a Store at CompUSA. The employees at that place seriously don't give a damn about the Apple store. It looked like an earthquake hit in there. I usually set their browsers for Apple.com or my site.

Also, I like to mess with the Compaqs at my school. Last week I got kicked out of the computer lab for resetting the desktops to show the Linux Penguin (as if any of the idiots at my school know what that is).
