I wish people would get it thrugh their heads that cyberpunk isint only religated to Ghost in the Shell and Neuromancer. The plots in those two stories are nothing like the matrix anyway.

Oh, and as for the Ghost In the Shell myth thing, go to http://www.intothematrix.com/ , the cartoon "the Programm" was done by the Ghost in the Shell guys as a tribute to the Matrix cuz they liked it.

And I hate masamune shiro's art, it's allways big boobed cyber chicks. It get's old. I coulden't even get thrugh the first book of AppleSeed since he tried to give as much fan service as possible. You can tell he was a horny 16 year old when he started in comix.

thing being the matrix itself. c'mon in neuromancer they actually connect into a virtual reality environment called the matrix by sitting in a big chair and putting plugs into the back of their necks.  the concepts well past "inspired".  oh and btw i never said neuromancer was good, its a pretty bad read IMO.  way too B grade.
