The Microsoft Trials .... deja vu?

Today the Micro$haft vs. European Union trial began. Apparently the EU is investigating how and why Windows Media Player is integrated in Windows. Some are fighting for the EU to demand MS to unbundle it from the OS. And get this - some want the EU to split MS into 2 companies!!!

Wow. This is the same thing as the 1998 case in the US over IE. The question is ... will the result be the same?

By the way, how the hell can the EU split up and American based company?
