The Name "Microsuck"

I'm not sure if you still visit this site but...
I am tired of this gay ass name.  Can't the default be Microsuck.  Then a preference to change it to FuckMicrosoft.  That name was so much better.  So much easier to spread to my friends.  They always have to ask me to repeate Microsuck.  However, FuckMicrosoft not only gets in their minds the first time.  It makes an impression.  I know that FuckMicrosoft.com works, but then it changes everything to Microsuck.  I know this new names helps you get on CNN or wutever.  But I havn't seen any articles on CNN on Microsuck.com.

All I am asking for is an option.  A checkbox or something.  PLEASE.  Pretty Pretty Please with cherries and gumdrops and aqua buttons on top.

Dude, you can still get here through the fuckmicrosoft domain name. Just tell your friends to go to fuckmicrosoft.com and it will still lead them here.

I've configured multiple domains myself, and I know that it's somewhat difficult to run CGIs on multiple domain names. It can easily be done, but it's much easier and secure to stick with one name, especially for things like this forum.
Also to configure every page to display either "microsuck.com" or "fuckmicrosoft.com" depending on what URL you enter in, requires an unreasonable amount of extra work. I'm talking about the text on the pages, not the location bar. And then there's cookies...

Actually, there is content. The problem is that everything is in the forums. We should add a section for articles, funny pictures, that sort of thing, so everyone can see it. Or at least post summaries of relevant discussions. Also, the news are hardly updated.

That's what I'm saying; all the content is in the forum. He may as well get rid of the front page altogether and just have this as the main page. I really don't see CNN or whoever being interested in this site with its 3 articles, one of which is just taken from kmfms. I'm guessing the only reason why it had any attention at all from the media was the old name.

Frankly, I fail to see the point of changing the name of the site at all, if only to add WWDC coverage and then let the site rot. Might as well add some sections. We have an ideas/suggestions section, for heaven's sake. All it's been used for recently was for a moron to usurp my name and post rubbish. Can't we do something more constructive?

I have a personal website in progress. I might add a Microsoft section to it. It could be a good addition, as my website currently has no purpose other than talking about myself.

The name is babyish
The news articles are out of date
The forum software sucks
The forum attracts trolls
The forum is inactive.

Anyone could easily make a much better site (even a silly n00b).

If you don't like it, i'd be happy to show you the door. Maybe if we xoops'd this site, like promote-opensource.org, or my site, then we could all submit articles, and be able to contribute to the site. Instead of waiting for webmaster to do something. But that is alot of work. This place is fine as a forum. Maybe that is all we need, a forum. No "site" or content bloating up the place, just the forums...

This site is great. It allows people from all walks of life and users of all different operating systems to hate Microsoft together. Sure, the webmaster could put some more time into this place, but at least it's designed well and has some good content, however old that content is. Get the hell out if you don't like it.
