An appeal to reason.

Folk's while shitslinging and flaming can be fun, lately there have been quite some disturbances in the force. Let's be.... ummm.... dare I say it, MORE MATURE!

I mean, forum regulars like Void have been getting in on this action. While it can be fun at times, it benifits no one. I feel like I'm back in the days where the secretive cunt, goosbuny, and flaming bag 'o shit nearly drove everyone away.

Uggh, speaking of the old days, I was just sifting though old posts to look for Psyjax rants when I came across the thread where I still hated all PC users and Calum and everyone hated me. Unpleasant memories.

Awwww c'mon, we gotta have a little fun now and then.     I was just waiting on my new kernel (2.5.47-ac3) to compile and had nothing better to do.

if the arseholes are going to post shit then i will post retorts and so will everybody else. end of story. i see no reason to be nice and polite while windoids post shit all around me.

however i agree that zombie90210 repeatedly turning valid threads into 3 page shitslinging sessions is incredibly boring after a year of it.

i remember that! you called me a microsoft loving nazi or something and i went and found your windows hosted website with your microsoft hotmail address on it!  ;)  and the reason you can't find the thread is probably something to do with the awful search facilities on this forum.

I think the forum HAS matured quite a bit.  With a name like FuckMicrosoft, it's kinda like waving your dick at the world.  The occasional asshole's gonna just have to post something in a futile attempt to defend the indefensible, and the regulars get to have a field day (remember unixsucks?).  But most of the discourse here seems to be on a higher level now; you guys are getting civilised.
I'm SERIOUS about Linux; are you??

ah we have to have fun once in a while.

Besides if you take a look, the Linux Forums has BY FAR the largest number of threads..  In all the Forums i been into, their Offtopic has the lead by a great margin in thread numbers
